  5. I thought is was interesting to find out that NY had so many religions practiced within its domain. I also thought the presentation was put together very well which keep my attention throughout the whole presentation.

  6. I thought the religion slide was really interesting in this presentation. Since I focused on Pennsylvania, I only had information about the Quakers and I though it was really cool to see just how many religions there were in New York.

  7. I found it interesting that NYC was the first capital of NY. It always seemed strange to me that NYC was not the capital today so I was interested to learn that at one time it actually was the capital.

  8. I found it really interesting to find out about all of the New York religions. Nowadays it seems as though anyone and everyone can live in New York and be free to practice whatever they believe, so it's interesting that they were able to do so even so long ago. I also thought it was cool to find out New York City used to be the capital, since I was also always curious as to why it was not the capital today. It may have been nice to include on a slide why it switched.

  9. It was interesting to see that colonists had similar lifestyle and entertainment as much of us have today. This was the only colony to mention having parties and playing board games.

  10. I think it's interesting that New York had so many different religions. The fact that they were so tolerant of diversity in NY differed greatly from most of the other colonies.

  11. I found the information behind the creation of the flag to be very interesting since that wasn't really spoken about for any other colony. I also find it interesting that NY had so many different religions when first becoming a colony.

  12. I'm glad that they included "The Capitols" slide. Though it should be common knowledge for any American, many forget that New York City was the capital of the United States for a period of almost 5 years (1985-1990).
