I didn't really know how big families were and what hardships they went through, dealing with the death of children so frequently but I found it interesting that you incorporated this into your presentation.
I liked how you focused a lot on the social structure and day to day life of colonists within Maryland. I did not know anything about Maryland so it was helpful.

I found it really helpful and interesting to know all of the social factors of colonial Maryland as opposed to just the historical facts and dates. I really feel like I know the essence of colonial Maryland because of this presentation.
I thought it was interesting that although Maryland was originally established to be accepting of Roman Catholics, the religion was later discouraged and even today there is not a large Roman Catholic presence.
I found it really interesting how the group incorporated education and family life in the presentation. I didn't realize how young children started working and how important education was in Maryland until the presentation.
I thought it was really interesting that children starting working as young as age 7 and that families were so large. It was also interesting that education became increasingly important in Maryland.
i thought it was very interesting about the families and the working situations, and how they faced so many hardships. i was shocked to find out that the kids had to go to work at such a young age.
I always feel that we learn about what the adults in the colonies did, so it was a nice change to read about the families and the children and what they had to go through. The part about the development of education was interesting as well.
I like how the group brought in the social activities of Maryland because it makes it interesting to compare it to other colonies in different areas.
